FAQs

What Makes us different to other companies?

In a market that is completely saturated with mass produced, run of the mill plywood drums with oil finishes and standard hardware... why not purchase a product that is totally unique, hand crafted to heirloom quality with endless possibilities and superior sound qualities!? Our Stave and Segmented drums offer a sound and versatility that many other drums cannot match. If you’re in the market for a new high end drum kit or snare, want first class service and a superior product with the option of complete customisation, you’re in the right place.

Yes. We often send our drums internationally. Contact us for a shipping quote or see the shipping costs at the check out.

What warranty do you offer on your drums?

A 10 year warranty for the original owner on drum shells, 2 years for hardware. This strictly does not cover any kind of accidental damage, misuse or incorrect storage.

What is the turnaround time to have a full custom kit or snare made?

This is totally dependent on the specifics of your order. As a generally rule for a snare drum , if the particular drum you require is not in stock or you are having a Custom Shop snare drum made, allow up to 4 weeks. For full drum kits, this may be slightly longer, depending on the currently work load and the specific design. A turn-around time will be communicated before order confirmation.

Do you carry out modifications and repairs to other drums and equipment?

Yes we do. From repairs and modifications to individual drums to full kits and hardware. Contact us to find out more.

How customisable is your custom shop series?

At Primas Custom Drums, we specialise in stave and segmented shells. Other than these two constrains, down to the last detail i.e. wood species, shell depth/thickness, bearing edges, finish, hardware, etc.

Can I collect?
